Pastor Joshua Robertson

Founder / CEO, Black Pastors United for Education

Rev. Joshua C. Robertson, Senior Pastor of The Rock Church in Harrisburg, PA, and Founder of Black Pastors United for Education (BPUE), is a dedicated advocate for educational equity and youth empowerment. Alongside his wife, Shaniqua Robertson, he established The Rock Church, a community committed to evangelizing, equipping, and empowering individuals.

In 2007, Rev. Robertson answered the call to preach the Gospel, shaping his path toward service and purpose. Despite excelling in athletics, his own educational challenges fueled his belief in tailored education for every child. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and, in 2021, a master’s degree from Evangelical Theological Seminary with straight A’s.

Rooted in his experiences, Rev. Robertson advocates for education reform and choice, challenging the one-size-fits-all approach. As CEO and Founder of BPUE, he ensures underserved youth have access to quality education and opportunities. Collaborating across political and socioeconomic lines, he promotes educational choice and believes every child, regardless of background, deserves access to their school of choice without financial barriers.

Rev. Joshua C. Robertson, a community leader, pastor, and equity advocate, exemplifies compassion, determination, and a deep commitment to empowering underserved youth. His work with BPUE and The Rock Church reflects his dedication to creating brighter futures for Harrisburg’s under-resourced youth.
